Mortice Knobs - Grey/White Pattern (silver)

Classy,well made knobs.Colour?

Just fitted these throughout a 1930s house to replace older style brass knobs. Lovely looking things, although the description states Grey.They are certainly more blue than grey,but we still like them.Look really nice against satin white painted oak doors.Couple of other points.Make sure you drill the holes into the door at a angle, rather than straight,to accept the screws.The recessed holes on the knobs,sit at a angle,so if you drill in straight,the screws will not sit flush,and the screwdriver will foul the knob ,when you try and tighten the screws.Also the spring loading on these is quite stiff. Possibly be to much for small childen ,or weaker hands.But it certainly is a positive action when turned.Overall,we are pleased with them.
